The Dolly Collection - Prints

A celebration of a woman who taught us that there is no such thing as too much.

Dolly has appeared in my work for years — not simply as an icon, but as a symbol of something I have always been drawn to: glorious excess, humour, kindness, resilience and the freedom of being entirely yourself.

The rhinestones, the hair, the impossible femininity were never at odds with intelligence or depth. She could laugh at herself without making herself smaller. She championed books and literacy, gave millions of books to children, welcomed outsiders and became beloved across generations and communities — including the LGBTQ+ community.

I loved that contradiction: the spectacle and the substance. The woman who could be in on the joke while refusing to apologise for taking up space.

These works were made from that love.

For Dolly, and for every woman who has ever been told she is too loud, too bright, too ambitious, too emotional, too glamorous, too much.

May we remain too much.
